Branch of Indian Psychiatric Society (Kerala) is the professional organization of Psychiatrists of Kerala. Apart from meeting the professional responsibilities of organizing continuous professional development programs, workshops and research activities, we are actively involved in efforts to improve the mental health care and awareness in the state of Kerala. Responding to challenges and problems in a timely and effective manner, we work as a connecting link between the general population, patients with mental illness, caregivers, mental health professionals, media, and various government agencies and departments with a vision to improve the mental health and wellbeing of Kerala.
